OUR ORIGIN STORY
Jazzberry Hill is a community of dedicated professional jazz musicians who originally got together, and have stayed together, strictly for the love of the music. Our mission is to keep the Great American Songbook alive and flourishing by actually contributing to it with authentic, New Standards (Music & Lyrics by Margee Forman) that will seamlessly take their place beside the legendary songs that have touched audiences since the beginning of Jazz.

MARGEE FORMAN (Composer/Lyricist)
Margee Forman is best known as a multi-platinum, internationally-acclaimed, top 10 songwriter. Throughout her eclectic career in the visual and performing arts, Margee has also been a Theatre Lyricist/Composer (named in Backstage with her collaborator on the Musical Revue
The Gym as one of the "American Theatre's New Dream Teams"), an award-winning jingle writer, featured Magazine writer, and an award-winning theatre and film set/scenic designer/artist.
All the while Margee has been developing a New Standards Jazz project that has culminated in JAZZBERRY HILL.
The FAEKER'S THEATRE
It's after-hours in a 1930's Speakeasy. The audience has gone home and the band is hangin' back doing what they do best. Jammin'! For themselves and for the shear joy of making music.
